A sculpture made up of painted fictional newspaper articles reporting on the various Cotswolds sports and traditions including the Tetbury wacky races, thecheese roll, Bibury duck races and the Newent Onion Fayre just to name a few!!

I look forward to researching and sharing these traditions on a creative level that can be enjoyed and understood by everyone. Playing on the idea of social media, the sculpture will also include hashtags, comments and illustrations that encourages the viewer to also interact with the sculpture. The viewer will be able to look for all the traditions celebrated within the sculpture.

It may provoke memories and feelings of the traditions that they have experienced. It may encourage them to share their own stories with others too.

The sculpture will be a fun and vibrant piece painted with acrylics that plays with words and illustration to celebrate and enjoy the various unusual sports and traditions that take place in the Cotswolds.
