Lee Crew- Day of the Hare

About the Hare

Drawing inspiration from the colours, vibrancy and passion of the day of the dead festivities of Mexico and Latin American. I wanted to celebrate our changing and evolving, living Cotswolds.
The place where we live, work, visit and cherish. From the past to the future, the ground beneath us to the stars above.

Lee is an established and professional artist who as been producing work of a high standard for many years.

He has shown work in many galleries across Britain (London and regional), and overseas, selling work throughout Europe, America and Japan. He has also published limited editioned work with CCA Galleries and Contemporary Art Holdings, and open editions with Icon and Grand Image in America.

Much of Lees work is produced to commission and ranges from CD covers to appearing in an extensive range of private and corporate collections including BT, John Lewis and Regus.

Many of Lee’s paintings and screen prints use the broader landscape as their starting point. They may be inspired by a visit to a particular location, the season, the weather or a particular light or feeling of a place. Colour plays an integral part in setting the space and the mood for each piece.
