Bryony Hare

Bryony Hare

About the Hare

My idea is to have one side of the hare as summer bryony (the middle panel of the triptych) and the other as winter bryony with the berries but to have the hare’s coat showing through in the spaces and his head painted realistically coming up out of the hedgerow tangle.

I’ve often caught hares creeping out of hedges like this and it seems to me to be a colourful design which will celebrate the diverse and lovely hedgerows of Gloucestershire.
