About the Hare

The hare design shows the geography of the Cotswold area and is a mixture of plants and maps. On the hares ears will be ivy as it seems to be growing on almost every tree you look at and it also contrasts well with the bright spring shades. The hare design shows the geography of the Cotswold area and is a mixture of plants and maps. On the hares ears will be ivy as it seems to be growing on almost every tree you look at and it also contrasts well with the bright spring shades. The compass we designed on the hare’s front was to show direction and to help tie in the idea of maps into the theme. On the feet and all around the base of the hare will be ferns/grass in a deep green colour to blend into the maps. The maps will be collaged onto the leveret and will depict local areas.

We wanted to take part in the hare trail because we thought that it was for a good cause and want to do our part for charity. We both live in the Cotswolds and think that the hare trail is a really good idea. We both are thinking about taking art next year at GCSE level and think that this will be a great experience.
