About the Hare

Our hare consists of an ombre yellow to dark orange (from the top to the bottom) we settled on this base design as it goes with our theme of an autumn evening. Debbie: I am a student at Farmor’s School in Year 10. I have taken Art, French, History and Sociology for my GCSE’s. I wanted to take part in the hare trail as I live in the Cotswolds and often see hares around where I live. It is also a wonderful opportunity to offer something back to the community. I am also very interested in art and this was the perfect chance to put my skills to work. Furthermore in art we have been studying artists such as Andy Goldsworthy who inspired us greatly when working on our design.

Isis: I am taking GCSE art because I am very creative and think that this will help me when designing and decorating the hare. The work I am doing in art and also in textiles links in well with the hare project. I have good team working and communication skills so this will allow me to work well with others whilst doing the project.  I do dance outside of school a lot of the time. I’m not really sure what I want to do when I’m older but would quite like to do something to do with either dance or art/textiles.
